Happy New Year

Good morning and Happy New Year everyone! How is everyone going to spend the last day of 2012? Are you heading out to party like a rock star or are you living it up in the comfort of your own home? Or are you entertaining for the New Year, did you invite all of your friends and even acquaintances over to spend the last day of the year with? 

Are you making your list of resolutions to being changing your life for the better in the new year? Do you stick to your resolutions or do you make it to March forget what you even resolved to change about yourself? To you go to the gym great guns for the first two months then start to make excuses why you can not get there to work out? 

We all have good intentions to change everything about us all at once every year. Start with one thing you would like to change about yourself and work on that. Then move on to the next item after you have made significant progress on the first item, start with small things to change, no matter what they are. Then move on to the larger ones, take your time and only change the things that you want to change, do not change for anyone else as you might regret making that change. It is your life live it how you see fit. You have to live with the decisions you make, so buck up and be proud of yourself and all that you do. 

To eat the cookie dough or not

Good afternoon all.  I have always been told, do not eat the cookie dough when making cookies. I have been doing it for years though with no ill side effects. So I would like to know do you eat the cookie dough when making cookies? I think that is the best part.

If you have not heard about this, read the Reuters article on what happened to this woman. It is a horrible story and it shocked me that this type of behavior is allowed to continue in India.

Saturday Morning

Good morning everyone! What do you have planned on this Saturday morning? It is almost snowing here in NW Indiana, more like freezing rain. How much snow do you have where you live? Enough for making a good snow man, a snow fort, a good snow ball fight or for blazing through the back roads in your 4x4? How do you spend the winter? Do you stay cooped up inside or do you cross country ski, down hill ski, or take the kids to the local hill to get in a little sledding? 

Holiday Sickness

Good morning everyone, it looks like we will be getting a light dusting of snow today. It is not very fun to be sick over the holiday's I made it through Christmas with out getting sick. Now feeling a bit under the weather. Not any fun for the upcoming New Years Celebration. Looks like I might just have to stay confined to the house. Getting sick anytime of the year is not much fun, and thank goodness I do not get sick often. You just have to gin, bear it and get on with life. I hope that everyone had a good Christmas with family and friends, did Santa bring you everything you asked for? I hope that we get a flurry of unpredicted lake snow 2-3 feet would be nice. I hope that everyone has a great day!

End of the world

Good morning everyone, we made it to the end of the world.. What do you have planned for the day after the end of the world? Christmas shopping, Holiday parties? Will you be baking or cooking today, what are you favorite holiday cookies or deserts? Love most any holiday cookies as many of them are only baked at this time of the year. Hope that everyone has a wonderful day. 

End of the world

Good morning everyone, what do you have planned tomorrow after the end of the world? I will be doing some baking and wrapping of last minuet presents. Also just spending some time with my sweet woman, and getting ready for our Christmas parties. We got ripped off on the snow forecast, as we only received a light dusting not the 5-8 inches that were predicted. Would like a few inches of snow to have a little fun with the Jeep. Well hopefully before then end of winter we will get a little more snow here in NW Indiana. Hope that everyone has a great Christmas and gets to spend time with those they care for a love. Even if you do not have any family to spend time with, spend time with those close to you. Enjoy your time off of work, school, or any other of your daily routines. Enjoy those around you and enjoy the out of doors, bundle up and take a trip to the local state park or national park if you live close to one.
